Over the past several years I have been very fortunate to be involved as an advisory board member of the Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media. As part of this involvement I have been part of leading several Social Media Residency programs.
If your not familiar, the Social Media Residency is a 1.5 day training to help participants not only navigate the social tools better but to understand application and how these mediums can impact efficiency and operations in healthcare. If you would like to read a bit more about the residency program you can do so here.
Historically this program was only available on the campus of a Mayo Clinic facility. Recently we completed the first residency away from Mayo Clinic with great feedback. Advisory board member Chris Boyer hosted us at his organization, Northshore/LIJ Health System, in New York City.
With the success of this program we are now expanding the offering to the Lone Star State!
Ashley Howland will be hosting us at her organization, Baylor Health Care System, September 10th – 11th
