Why Do Blogs Fail?

I was on Facebook a couple of days ago and noticed a infographic posted by my good friend Chris Boyer about how social media is becoming main stream in corporate america. The original file came from

The summary is that 94% of companies use some form of social media. According to the graphic a corporation”s favorite tools are:

  • Facebook – 92%
  • Twitter – 82%
  • LinkedIn – 73%
  • Blogs – 61%

This is really no surprise… However something I do find interesting is this portion of the graphic:



Question: Why the decline? Is blogging that hard? Why do blogs fail?
